Night Sweats Cough
Coughing up bloody phlegm Night Sweats?
I had this a while ago I was wondering what it could have been? I remember before getting sick I came across a carcass of a badger in a field by mistake. Would it have been possible I could have gotten TB? I was immunised against it. I was also immunised against the mumps but still got it.
Temporary blood tinged phlegm may be common in the later stages of the flu, a bad chest cold or pneumonia. This may be accompanied by Night Sweats. Coughing up frank blood is more worrisome as are persistent night sweats.
Some badgers are carriers of Mycobacterium bovis, related to M. tuberculosis that causes most human TB. M. bovis is probably responsible for only a small fraction of all TB cases in the US, perhaps around 1%. Symptoms are similar: cough, blood tinged sputum, night sweats, fever, weight loss, abdominal pain, sometimes swollen lymph nodes in the neck.
Your safest option is to discuss this situation with your doctor who can decide how intensely you need to be evaluated.
BTW, the other disease transmitted by badgers is rabies.
Hot Flash Houston

No D&C 3 weeks after miscarriage??!! Please read!?
My friend had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago and still hasnt had a D&C! The school referred her to a state hospital (Lyndon B. Johnson-Houston, TX) and they havent called her back about the appointment they were supposed to make for her! I called another hospital and they said that they dont make appointments for D&C’s and that she should come to the emergency room but said that she would be waiting for at least 8-10 hours. Should we go to the emergency room or wait to get an appointment?
Oh yea- she’s also feeling very weak, sleepy, nauseous, and keeps getting hot flashes and cold sweats…if you have any information…please get back to us! Thanks so much!
Yes, take her to the emergency room. She needs medical attention.

Night Sweats Lamictal
effexor, lamictal, green tea?
is it safe to be taking effexor and lamictal with green tea pills?
150mg effexor. 200mg lamictal.
ive been doing it for the last couple days, my hearts racing and im having Night Sweats. but i used to be a drug addict so im cool with those. i just dont want it to make me realy sick or anything.
thanks for your help.
the green tea isnt for weight loss. GREEN TEA WILL NOT HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT!
my moms been taking it for over a year and NO CHANG.
i take a lot of it tho cuz it makes all jittery and my heart starts racing. i used it to help ween me of crystal.
Its due to the insane amount of caffeine found in those green tea pills. I’m guessing you’re using them because of their supposed “weight loss” benefits. That’s just a cheap marketing gimik. If you want the benefits of green tea go out an buy them in tea bags and drink it naturally. You can also get decaffeinated green tea. As for your Night Sweats, that’s a byproduct of the effexor and is one of its many side effects. You should be aware that if you’re taking green tea to help you lose weight you’re going up against a brick wall. Effexor will cause you to gain weight, will make it incredibly difficult to control your current weight without intense diet and working out, and impossible to lose weight.
Symptoms Of Menopause Nausea
could i be pregant after having tubal 8yrs ago?
i’m 41 mother of 2,2hpt neg, thought it may be pre-menopause,but i have every symptom known to pregancy nausea so bad i’ve had to take phenegren to get through the day stomach is so swelled i look at least 4 mos if not further along,i have no insurance to go to dr can any one help?
There are medical facilities that will exam you for free or according to your income. Women of your age who have had a tubal and who might be pre-menopausal need to be checked. I don’t like to scare people but cancer is always a big risk. Go see your doctor.
Menopause Itchy Skin
menopause question for women?
What natural treatments work for hot flushes and sweats.Have you tried HRT and did it work.Did you put on weight and are there other side effects.I get bad headaches and itchy skin also insomnia.I am looking for suitable remedies and would appreciate hearing your experiences.I have had symptoms for two years now and have tried black cohosh but it had no effect.I am 47.
I decided I would not take HRT; and looked for ways of coping with symptoms; I found that taking vitamin E capsules helped my skin condition – the itching, the dryness. I also take Evening Primrose oil to help balance the hormones..
The flushes are much more difficult to deal with – I have tried drinking sage tea, I have tried Black Cohosh, to no REAL effect. The flushes died down themselves eventually, and now I only have the occasional one.
The headaches may be different; after a lifetime of migraines…they started to subside; yet I have friends who developed dreadful headaches during menopause.
I can recommend a very good book, by Dr John Lee, called “what your doctor may not tell you about the menopause”
In which he focuses on the role of natural progesterone in women of our age.If you never acted on any of his advice, the book is worth reading for it’s sympathetic and commonsense approach to menopause!
I have put on weight in the past four years – I am 54 – but I’m OK with it. I kind of like having a bust, I kind of like my womanly shape!
Insomnia is another tough one…I have also been there! I found that not taking it too seriously helped. I tried various things, like Valerina, or warm baths, or a massage, or sometimes a nightcap! There were varying degrees of success with all of them, and I think sleep remedies are as individual as you are!
Severe Night Sweats After Surgery
I have severe heel pain in both feet for about the last 6 months and is getting worse.?
About 6 months ago after a back fusion surgery I started have severe heel pain in the bottom of my feet that they feel like I walking on two bruises in the morning. By night when I stand it feels like I jumped onto a bed of nails and the pain stops me dead in my tracks. At the same time that all this started with my feet I started Night Sweats and accompanied by fatigue and depression naturally. When I tell my back surgeon about this problem, he just seems to dismiss the problem all together. Any suggestions out there?
sounds like a bone spur and I also had one and dr. gave me shot of cortizone. worked great for about a week and came back so had someone tell me to excersice it went away.
try this, sit on a chair and place a towel/or rag on floor and use your toes to pick it up, bend the toes and after picking it up , keep doing several times a day for 2 weeks and if this does not cure it than you probably need the spur cut down, thru surgury, but do that at last resort, if anything keep excersing for a few more weeks, I did and it went away and never came back.
The problem is the tissue in the heel get weak and the bone rubs against it, so excersing it helps strengthen the heal
Night Sweats Head And Neck
Lump on side of right side of neck…..?
Its not really visible unless i tilt my head to the left… then it pops out a bit more…but it is still really small. i went to the doctors last week and he said that he didnt feel anything unusual, so he said not to worry about it and sent me home. I have no other symptoms like…fever, Night Sweats, weight loss, loss of apetite etc..so what can this be, im worried it is cancer (hodgkins desiese???) do u think it could be that??? when should i get it checked out again?? i tend to worry a lot.. so..i found it last week and its still here
im 19 yrs old healthy male 150 lbs…
It is most likely an enlarged lymph node. They appear during an illness such as a cold and sometimes take months to go away but they do not indicate disease normally. If it is not gone in 3 months or gets bigger, go back to the doctor.
