The concept for COLD FLASH™ came out of a real necessity. As we three women began going through menopause with it’s unexpected rushes and waves of body heat, we asked, “Why isn’t there something, other than taking hormones, that would take the heat away and give us relief?” Those rushes would come at the most embarrassing moments: in a meeting, at dinner or while making a presentation. We put our heads together and decided that we needed to come up with something portable that women going through ‘the change’ could use for temporary relief from these hot, uncomfortable and debilitating moments.
BECAUSE OF RECENT MEDICAL FINDINGS that hormones may contribute to breast and ovarian cancer, hormone therapy is no longer the number one choice for hot flash relief.
